Assessment of Construction / Developments

Balancing pond plans
Cambridge
New developments, or even demolition of existing constructions, can significantly affect the numbers of birds and other wildlife in the locality. With some birds travelling many miles on a daily basis between roosting and feeding sites, it is important that airports have input into planning applications, even when they may be many miles away.

We have worked with many different and varied organisations on mitigation of wildlife hazards and problems.

Where possible, we will suggest 'halfway' points, where the birdstrike risk can be reduced to an acceptable level while accommodating the environmental / conservation plans of developers.
